Horrible moving company. If I could give a negative star I would. Moved out of townhome, they were 3 hrs late. Scratched all the walls and got the carpet dirty. Stored our furniture for us and gave us a key to the storage unit but didn’t tell us all furniture was between 2 different storage units. Went to move in and they were 4 hours late, didn’t have all our furniture, scratch the door frame to our new build house, then went back to the storage unit to find out the other unit they had no key. They had to return the U-Haul because of a missed payment. One guy came back to help break into storage unit and my husband had to move furniture into his truck. The next day, my husband rented a U-Haul and went back to the storage unit to unload our stuff. Only one guy helped. Came back to our house and my husband and to help finish unloading our furniture. Didn’t label what was ours and ended up with someone else’s clothes that weren’t ours. Still had to pay the full payment. We payed for movers but we ended up doing most of the work, couldn’t find all our stuff, waited hours to get our things, and ended up with scratches on our new build door frame. I would never ever recommend this company. Never even bubble wrapped our nice furniture.
The affordable moving team made our move happen with a tight schedule and last minute demands. Everyone on the team is extremely personable, expeditious and extremely careful ehen movingbour stuff ( which was a lot). I recommend this moving company over any other in Charleston SC! Love these folks!
I highly recommend this moving company. The cost was extremely reasonable and the whole process from start to finish was a stress free experience with outstanding professionalism. George and his crew moved my daughter's 1 bedroom apartment from Charleston, South Carolina to Bethpage, New York expeditiously. Before i hired this company, i was very nervous as it was my first time using a moving company. When I reached out to George as a potential hire, I felt very comfortable moving forward. He kept me updated during the process and eased my worries. Very honest and trustworthy. He went above and beyond. Look no further.... this is the BEST out there. Thank you George for everything!!
We contracted with them to move a massive dining room table. It is very fragile and easily scratched weighing ~800lbs. They did an incredible job of unpacking from the shipping crates, carefully and cautiously moving it from the driveway into the house, and assembling it. We could not have been more impressed and happy with their service. Would highly recommend.
A great sale but needed to pick up appliances same day! Only problem…I was out of town, called George and he came with his crew within the hour to pick up and deliver appliances to my garage an hour away. Personable, professional, reasonable and accommodating. Sent pics to confirm delivery. Couldn’t ask for more. Will use again in a heartbeat. Many thanks George! Will share your number!
