This review comes several months late. However I hired the company to complete a local move from one side of Charleston to another in AUG 2025. The price was reasonable, around $2k.This experience feels like a circumstance of, "you get what you pay for". Starting with scheduling, if you provide any phone contact information on their website. You will be bombarded with spam calls attempting to get you to schedule.I scheduled a move and was told I'd receive confirmation and informational emails. Fast forward to approximately two weeks before my move, I hadn't received anything. I'm quite sure if I hadn't reached out again, my move would never have been officially scheduled. On the day of the move three men arrived. Previously I was told two were to move and one was to pack. To expedite the process I had already packed most of the bedrooms and bathrooms of a 2-bedroom apt. The only "packing" areas were the kitchen (given "free") and closets. The movers were absolutely not organized or prepared. My friend and I ended up packing areas they were responsible for including the kitchen. We also brought items to the truck to load AND helped unload at the destination.Multiple times they forgot to pack spaces and left an entire bed frame/set. They did not label ANY boxes that they packed. When they arrived at my new place, the unloading was as unorganized as the pack/loading process. I had to ask multiple times about reassembling bed frames and other furniture they were supposed to put together. Recently I discovered my master bedroom's bed frame was not assembled properly and has caused a wheel to turn completely under destroying the frame.Ultimately it took them 9 hours to move a 2-bedroom apartment across town. At the end I learned it was the packer's first day with no previous experience. Also the dispatcher was nice when I voiced my concerns about how it was going and agreed to discount the move a bit. However I've received no reply from my email inquiring about broken items. They broke a lamp inherited from my great grandmother, glassware from the Czech Republic, and a bathroom decor item.I'd 100% recommend against using this company. Although they were polite, this was the worst move I've ever had, and I am prior military so many moves under my belt.
Nicholas and crew were awesome, fast, efficient with the upload. However, the download was a scattered mess of chaos. The move was from an organized and professionally packaged storage unit that was a 10x20 and into a wide open 20x40 garage. Upon arrival I discovered mattresses had been wrapped but walked on, couch cushions dragged across the ground and valuable and delicate LABELED boxes were underneath other boxes labeled HEAVY. This was by far a slack download of my families only personal belongings. After waiting 3.5yrs to move into our house we are left sorting through a chaos of strewn boxes and items that are literally scattered in an open space. The expectation was to come home to a well organized garage resembling the storage unit organization that they uploaded from. What I got was an overpriced and blatant disregard for personal belongings. Photos coming soon once the sun is up and I can move the mattress out of the door way to even enter the garage. Both the man door and the garage door are utterly blocked by so much that you can’t even access anything to start organizing and sorting things. This is disappointing at best. If you plan to use this company I highly suggest that you are present and very assertive with clear direction as to how you want items stacked to avoid damage to your belongings. I don’t think it’s an unreasonable request to have things placed in an open garage in an organized manner! They took the time to unload an organized storage unit, organized the moving truck and then literally threw things into a garage. This is sad and very upsetting for my family that has waited and now paid so much for our valuables to possibly be damaged. We won’t even know for days if we received everything and what could be damaged from this terrible excuse for a delivery. Would not recommend.
I am absolutely DISGUSTED at the amount of money we paid for such incompetence and damage that I know the claims department won't even scratch the surface in reparations, if they decide to give us anything at all. We only hired movers because at our move date (10/29/25), I was 37 weeks pregnant. I feel like we got scammed because my husband and I had to move a majority of heavy boxes along with some furniture upstairs by ourselves after they left! I did not realize until they were gone that they had left so much unfinished. From the beginning, the crew did nothing but argue with each other. My husband heard them talking about another job they were supposed to get to in the afternoon, so I feel like they were trying to rush our job by moving our items carelessly. Two of them were taking NO initiative at all and waited for the third guy to tell them what to do.We already had most of our items wrapped up and in storage from our last move with this company, so we figured it wouldn't take as long as our move last time. We were wrong. This crew took twice as long and they damaged a laundry list of items (to include my $1300 piano and our $600 dining table). A large chunk of time was also spent driving back to the storage unit because they left one of the dollies.Once they were unloading at the new house, I had to tell them multiple times about several pieces of furniture that needed to go upstairs. Those never got placed where they belonged. They were also supposed to set everything else up in place (bed frames & mattresses, dressers, nightstands, tables set up properly, etc). That was not done. Our furniture ended up in rooms, but some of them were in the wrong rooms and other items were strewn out all over the place. The DAMAGES that we found are ridiculous:- dirty handprints, scuffs, mud spot in our bedroom carpet, and dents on the walls (scuffs are understandable, but I heard them drop an item upstairs while I was downstairs and saw they had dropped it on our banister, which caused the banister to shift out of place, and hand prints.. seriously?)- dresser frame and one of the drawers are broken and the back piece was left against the wall behind it after they unwrapped it. (I witnessed them DROP this upside down in our bedroom from at least knee height)- My piano was dropped on one side when they brought it in, which broke one of the feet, split the frame in the back, broke the screws out of the backing, and the entire keyboard itself has dropped out of place. Along with that, they were using a knife to take the plastic wrap off the bench that goes with this and they cut into the cushion- deep scratches in our dining table (which is confusing to me because they wrapped this with a blanket, so I can only assume the blanket was covered in dirt or rocks)- Blackstone grill shelf (the sides that pop up and down into those little brackets) was warped out of place- shattered the back of our stand fan- broke the bolt out of place on one of our tables- missing a foot from my art stoolI understand that some things are going to happen in transit, but the damages on most of our items were done by the movers themselves carelessly moving our items and literally dropping them! The fact that we paid nearly $1500 for this service and it feels like the job was only halfway done is just bad business. On top of that, they took so long unloading everything that we overheard them cancelling the second job they were supposed to work that afternoon. For reference, they arrived at 8:30am and left the final destination around 4pm.The first time we hired this company, we had a completely different crew and they were great! Very efficient, professional, and nothing was broken or damaged. They only spent 3 hours moving our entire house (including wrapping everything, moving some items into storage, and setting up all the furniture in the appropriate places in our apartment). I don't know what happened, but I am mostly just angry about the carelessness and unprofessional behavior from the crew.
Worst moving experience of my entire life. Where do I begin? Here’s a breakdown of some of the events that happened during our move yesterday:1) One of the guys quit. yes, just quit, had us call in a pass for his friend who came and got him. Our BOL shows we were charged for 8 men when one quit.2) The boys were playing basketball and lifting our weights instead of moving. When I walked out to them they told me they were waiting on the other truck, yet the 3rd floor was still completely unpacked (and still is), the backyard wasn’t done, the garage was still full, and the master bathroom was still unpacked.3) They moved items I asked them not to and didn’t move items I asked them to.4) We are not all the way moved, still have a small truck full of stuff at the old house. They were so slow at moving we were worried we wouldn’t be moved in and have 3 little kids so asked them to bring one truck over to our new house (3 minutes away from our old house) and finish the packing at the old house. There is still furniture on our front porch and furniture left throughout the entire house.5) The basketball hoop they enjoyed playing on is still at the old house6) Our wall is dinged up and damaged7) Nothing that was shown in their “brag book” happened at our house except for two blue mats (as in no banister or door protectors).8) They moved my husbands desk by literally ripping the top off the desk. No unscrewing it, completely ripping it off making it completely broken.9) Our outside furniture is haphazardly in the yard (see photos). I am pregnant and cannot move heavy things, hence why we hired movers. The Umbrella thrown in the yard is an example of how serious they look their job. I was inside directing and asked them to let me know when they were ready for the outside stuff. They never did.10) At six months pregnant, I ended up packing and moving boxes since some of the 8 men that were hired couldn’t seem to move with any haste what so ever and were shocked when they realized the master bathroom still needed to be packed.11) They were openly complaining. One even asked our AC guy if he had any job openings12) They couldn’t even bother to hook our sectional back together13) they “packed” our clothes by throwing them in a wardrobe box without hanging them and in the same box as shoes (gross)14) The team that arrived looked winded and exhausted after 2 flights of stairs. One mover could not even put any weight on one of his legs.15) I picked up cigarettes from our yard and trash was left behind (their drink bottles)16) I asked them not to pack certain things. One was a kids toy with sand in it. They packed it. In a box with other items. Sand is over everything. See photos. Our “coordinator” Dennis had stopped answering any emails or phone calls as he sold us one experience and we were delivered a completely different one. It was a cluster from the beginning. I have boxes in my garage that belong other places that I can’t move, broken furniture, dinged up walls, I paid for a service which I had to do myself, oh and my old house still isn’t empty. We are working with someone to try and resolve this but haven’t heard back and were told there’s no way they can finish our move for free. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST.
