The most unprofessional experience I've ever been through on a move! 3 Unexperienced movers who complained, argued and fought throughout the 3 days. They deep gouged my wood furniture, broke an antique wood stove, tore a mattress, dented both washer & dryer and failed to put plastic down over carpet which I had to have cleaned professionally, gouged and scraped walls that had to be repaired in both the home I moved out of and the one I moved into. I paid the extra $400.00 to $500.00 and was told I would get that back for over a year 1/2 and still waiting. Cory Simmons the General Manager promised me he would take care of everything and he had even stated this at my place of employment, text messages and phone calls though I have been ignored and out of the extra insurance money I paid. They even took 9 of my commercial moving blankets I purchased for my move. Be careful and research your moving company and check feedback. I will continue to repost this feedback until my situation is taken care of...Lisa Merrill
After finding out about hidden fees (extra $600) with another company we called Johnson Storage and Moving for a quote. They responded and set an appointment that same day to have a look at the home for an accurate quote. Then they were able to squeeze us in a short amount of time and accommodate all our needs. Greg was awesome with his communication and patient with answering my many questions! Shane, Brad, and Charlie were all very hard workers and got the job done in less time than expected (full 4 bed 2 bath - with two living spaces and garage) house to house move! Not once did any of the guys complain or have a negative attitude. Plus the most affordable pricing in the Cheyenne area AND their quote was what we actually paid! No hidden fees!!! Overall customer service was excellent, they should have 5 stars on Google. Will be working with them in the future as well. Thanks guys!
I worked with Johnson Moving to unload two 16 foot trailers at different times. Johnson was able to accommodate me on a holiday weekend, which was incredible! The workers were pleasant, helpful, and efficient. No problems or concerns. The only issue was dealing with their incompetent administrative assistant, Jessica A. She did not follow up, did not email my receipts in a timely manner. Nor did she know about the billing, claimed I owed money when my bill was paid via credit card.Had to call back several times to get my receipts. Very unprofessional and inefficient! Other than her, service was great.
We had Johnson Storage and Moving handle our move from Wyoming to South Dakota. We have moved 5 times prior with other moving companies. The crew showed up on time and went right to work. They were able to pack our things, load the truck, and deliver in a 3 day period which exceeded our expectations. They were courteous and careful with all our belongings. We are so happy we contracted them to do this move for us. There was no stress or worries.
We had a very bad experience with Johnson Moving and Storage. We worked with them through a corporate relocation, and so did not have any say in who we worked with. The day before we were set to be packed and loaded, the Johnson Moving office called us and said “You have everything packed, right?” We told them no, we were scheduled to be packed and loaded. They then proceeded to act as if they had no idea that was the case and that the relocation company had dropped the ball. They sent two men the next day - one of them a temp worker who was very nice, but had never done packing before. It was very clear the job wasn’t going to get done on time, and since I was set to fly out with my daughter the next day, I ended up packing half the house while also taking care of her (she is almost two years old). During that time, I glanced at their clipboard and saw a printed out email on it. It was an email of Johnson Moving accepting the job that explicitly stated packing AND loading. It was sent two weeks before. So, they definitely knew, and messed up, and tried to put the blame on someone else.My husband and I packed the rest of the house that night and he had to take a last-minute day off work to be there on the second, unscheduled day, as I was flying out that day.I spoke with the operations manager, Mark (or Marc, I’m unsure of the spelling), and he came out with a larger team the next day. We thought things had been resolved, until the trailer was opened in Llano. Basically no furniture pads or blankets had been used, and furniture and lamps had been tossed in with little regard for our belongings. I’ll post photos, which should speak for themselves. The unloading crew was shocked and had to call me into the trailer repeatedly to show me damaged furniture and poor packing.I must give credit where it is due - our kitchen and breakables were packed very carefully. None of those were broken. It’s frustrating that our furniture wasn’t handled with similar care - especially since it is so much more difficult to replace/repair.We are filing a claim with the relocation company, so hopefully some of this will be remedied, but I very strongly recommend that you choose another company when moving in or out of Cheyenne
