EDIT 2/26: I have changed this from a 3 star review to a 5. After submitting a claim, Andy from the corporate resolution department quickly reached out and let me know of the settlement amount. It was a great offer and I felt like they really wanted to make things right. Great customer service goes a long way!The movers were nice and efficient once they arrived. I was given a window of 8:30-9 a.m. and they didn’t arrive until almost 10:30. What really is driving this rating down, though, is that they broke the dresser I’ve had for less than a year, and I’m not quite sure how they managed to break it as badly as they did because they wrapped it. The bottom is cracked and the drawers won’t stay on. I ended up paying $100 more than quoted because of the materials they used and did not disclose the cost of before wrapping things.
FANTASTIC COMPANY!!These guys are no joke!! Top notch service! Melissa and her crew of awesome gentlemen swooped in with pride and care! I wasn't done packing, I was stressed out but they jumped in to help. They were so polite, and efficient. They even joked around with me as well which calmed my nerves and brought me at ease! I would definitely use their services again and again, and you should too! I promise you will not be disappointed!
I hired All My Sons Moving & Storage during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life. I was starting over — relocating hundreds of miles away, rebuilding after an abusive relationship, and doing so as a single mother with limited financial margin. Because of that, I was extremely careful, confirmed pricing repeatedly, and relied on the quoted amount being accurate. That trust was misplaced.I was charged for packing supplies that were never used. When I questioned this and explained that I had used my own boxes, a manager named Brad told me that was not true and effectively called me a liar. When I offered to take photographs to document what was actually used, he responded, “What would that prove?” I was denied any meaningful way to dispute the charges. I was also billed for a kitchen pack, even though my kitchen was never packed. The move occurred over two days. On the first day, the crew spent the entire day packing. Due to confusion, poor coordination, and inconsistent direction from Brad and All My Sons management, there were hours where the movers stood around waiting for instructions. This idle time was not the fault of the crew — it was caused by management. I paid in full for the first day, despite this, because I was paying for the job to be done.Even after a full day paid, the truck was only partially loaded, and not all of my belongings from the house were placed on it.On the second day, when the movers arrived to unload, I was informed that additional payment was required before anything would be unloaded, despite the fact that my belongings were already packed and under the company’s control. At that point, I had no leverage. Everything I own — while trying to start over — was being withheld unless I paid disputed charges.I was advised by other employees that when payment disputes arise, customers’ belongings are taken to storage for a limited period and may ultimately be discarded if payment is not made. Faced with the possibility of losing everything I own, I felt coerced into paying.I was originally quoted approximately $1,900 for a complete move, which I was told included packing, loading, transportation, unloading, setup, gas, and all services. Instead, I was charged approximately $2,500 for the second day alone, on top of the $2,500 already paid. I was only reimbursed a portion of the second-day charges after I instructed the movers to place everything in the front of my home instead of unpacking or setting anything up.There was significant damage to multiple pieces of furniture, as well as damage to my walls and flooring. While the damage was upsetting, the movers themselves were kind, apologetic, and visibly uncomfortable with the situation. My interactions with management were deeply unprofessional. When I requested an invoice and attempted to address billing discrepancies, Brad spoke over me, dismissed my concerns, sarcastically told me I had been “a real peach,” and then hung up on me. I am still waiting for that invoice.I documented everything — photographs of the supplies I was charged for (which totaled five boxes), the condition of my belongings, and the damage to my home.As someone rebuilding her life, I did everything right. I planned, saved, verified pricing repeatedly, and trusted the company I hired. That trust was exploited when I had no practical ability to walk away. This matter remains unresolved and will be pursued through appropriate channels. If you are considering this company, understand the risk of what can happen once your belongings are packed and no longer in your control.
Amazing customer service starting with the office staff to the movers. On the day of my move, Brad called to verify the movers were on site and that everything was going well. When I had mentioned to the movers (Chris and Jermaine) about a package I needed them to be careful with they replied “we are going to take good care of you!” Which eased my mind. What a great response! And they did take great care of me! They did the move with a smile on their faces and spoke VERY highly of the company. I appreciate how efficient they were and didn’t dilly dally to milk the clock. I had a wonderful experience all around. A+++ for customer service, respect for my belongings and pricing. I would highly recommend All My Sons moving to family and friends.
Moved elderly family from Michigan 5 hours away to Ohio. The moving experience was great. Friends of the family met the movers at the Michigan location and we're pleased with their professional manor. I met the gentle men on the destion end of the move and they were very kind to the elderly couple. They were respectful of them and their processions. The company was great to work with since I could not be present. So very glad I chose them. Definitely would recommend them for any moving need you might have.
