Overall, we had a good experience with Midwest Moving Company in Fargo. The crew worked extremely hard and had great attitudes throughout the move. Their customer service was incredible—everyone we interacted with was communicative, persistent, and clearly committed to getting the job done.

There were the typical things left behind that movers cannot transport (hazardous materials like medicine, propane, and cleaning supplies); however, they also left quite a few items in closets and the shed that we ended up needing to move ourselves. It seemed like the job may have been underestimated and there weren’t quite enough people assigned to it.

Because the move took longer than expected, we were charged about 30% more than the original estimate for the additional time. But the total still came up under what other local companies quoted us, so I'm happy.

That said, the packing job they did was really stellar. We haven’t unboxed everything yet, but so far the only damaged items we’ve found were a particle board storage shelf (which they told us about immediately when it happened) and the tablet mount on our very heavy NordicTrack, which was likely brittle to begin with.

Overall, despite a few hiccups, we were pretty pleased with the experience. The crew was resilient, hardworking, and professional, and we appreciated their transparency and effort throughout the move.

The moving crew arrived with the truck as scheduled. The crew was paid great attention to our furniture. The crew worked together very well. They respected my wife and my wishes to a T. Eack piece of furniture was wrapped very well and secured if the van well. They staged the loading well as we have a upper and lower unloading area. Each piece was placed where we wanted and relocated as required. I recommend this crew of Midwest for a safe and expedited move.

I am so impressed with the whole experience with Midwest. Moving can be stressful, but from the man who helped us with the booking to the completed move-in, the team at Midwest was just awesome. We hired 4 men - Carter, Reece, Abraham, and Johnny - and they were efficient, upbeat, and organized. They handled our furniture with care and even had special wraps that went around the doors to protect them from dings. They worked a full 8 hours, and the price was definitely reasonable for how hard they worked. I whole-heartedly recommend Midwest Moving!

We were going to move ourselves but decided to call to see if we could get a moving company to move ourselves things from storage to our house about an hour and a half away. Midwest Moving was able to do that for us. Braden and Dusty were our movers and things could not have gone better. They showed up right in time (even a little early) and got right to work. They were personable, polite, efficient, careful and competent, all you can ask for in movers. They got everything loaded up in about 2 1/2 hours on the front end and unloaded in about 2 hours on the back end. They asked where we wanted things as they brought them in. The move really could not have gone better, we were so glad we called them!
