Two men and a truck were excellent with my move. They showed up on time. Was very professional and got the job done. I’d definitely use them again in future moves. They took care of my belongings and loaded and unloaded all items with precision. I have no complaints.
I would highly recommend this company. They are very professional and polite. All 6 person worked together well. I did not see one person on their cell phone while they were packing and unloading the truck.
Hard working movers. Good communicators until they break something.Poor help when they broke my TV. Offered $5/LB for a LED TV (State minimum). Broken TV effectively doubled the cost of my move considering I now need a new TV. Beware the cost of the move may be more than what they charge you.
I cannot recommend Two Men and a Truck based on my recent experience. The Facts: For a 770 sq ft one-bedroom apartment move (21 miles), they estimated 4-5 hours with three movers. The actual move took 6 hours, including an unexplained nearly one-hour absence by the crew after they went "down for another load."During the move, they damaged two items: broke a leg off my coffee table (irreparable) and put a triangular hole (~1" per side) in my bed's footboard. The "Valuation" Issue: Before the move, I was required to pay an $85 "valuation" fee, which they described as "acting like insurance" for potential damage. When I filed a claim with photos and documentation, Two Men and a Truck determined the damage value was conveniently just under their "deductible." Result: no compensation for the damaged furniture, and I'm also out the $85 fee. I'm replacing the furniture they damaged out-of-pocket.Bottom Line: The combination of unexpected time overruns, unexplained crew absences, property damage, and what appears to be a meaningless "valuation" system made this a disappointing experience. There are many reputable moving companies available - I'd suggest exploring other options.UPDATE on Owners response: I was called once during the move only after the movers called the office to tell them about the damage they had caused. Jennifer called and wanted me to file a claim right away but I told her I hadn't seen the damage yet and I wanted to understand what occurred before filing the claim. After filing the claim I heard nothing from them, not even that they had received the claim, until I reached out the following week asking for a status. How you're treated during and after the move tells you more about a company than their promises before you pay.
I was shocked to learn how affordable full-service packing & moving can be! Two Men and a Truck truly made the moving process stress-free. They showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, handled everything with care, and came in well under their original estimate. Decades of belongings were all neatly boxed up in 3 hours flat. If we ever move again, I will be a repeat customer!
