We moved this past weekend and had an excellent experience working with Morrison Moving. They were punctual, efficient and so careful with all of our belongings. All of our furniture and belongings arrived in great condition (including our extremely fragile large plant). Tyler, Dillon, Dorian & Hayden did a great job with our move and I would highly recommend this company!
Very disappointed. I called them because I'm a senior & I wanted them to pack & unpack me. I believed the website & trusted them even though red flags were going off in my head after getting vague verbal "confirmations" about unpacking & removing the boxes & packing paper after I signed the contract. They unpack the wardrobes, but not boxes not even the ones they packed. Photos are attached of 2 rooms in my condo after they left. I was packed on a Monday, moved on Tuesday. One of the packers said they don't like to unpack because things can break & they don't like getting blamed. SO, BE ADVISED, THEY WILL NOT UNPACK YOU.Yes I signed their paperwork on moving day saying everything was done to my satisfaction, what choice did I have?!? I even tipped them! Why? I wanted them gone.Moving day there were 4 young men, 1 was nice & polite, 2 were sullen & in a bad mood, 1 was a jerk. They were angry because I moved into a senior-specific condo building. Morrison Movers may claim to be "senior friendly" but they have never heard of the concept of keeping the hallways clear. No unloading into the hall or the elevator lobbies or leaving anything in the public hallways that may cause a resident to trip. You take a load from the truck INTO the elevator then from the elevator INTO the suite. Nothing gets left in the hallways! I forgot to remind the 4 movers of this on moving day BUT I did discuss it with at least one of the reps on the phone. And btw-this is a NORMAL RESTRICTION in many senior residences-but my movers had never heard of it. Yet they are "senior moving experts"? NOT! The condo manager was banging on my front door within 15 minutes & of course the 4 pissy attitudes of my movers became even pissier.The other pics are the hardwood floors of the home I was leaving. Yes they put down mats but in order for them to be effective YOU HAVE TO WALK ON THEM!! You can see from the tracks-they did not stay on the mats-this applied to BOTH the packers & the movers. I had to hire a special cleaning service to clean these floors! The packing guys (3 of them) were nice, 2 more so than the 3rd. But they kept going out to the truck, 1 of them every 15 mins or so, getting a few boxes, some paper and/or 2-3 pads then walk into the house with their wet, muddy boots, they'd walk part way on the mat, then step off or go into a room & stand on the bare floor where they had not put a mat & pack a box?! Work boots-with deep treads, dripping. I wanted to suggest-maybe 1 guy go out, bring back a bunch of supplies-in & out 5-6 times-pile everything in the foyer (there was plenty of room), then COVER YOUR DAMN BOOTS & pick up your supplies from the foyer inside the house not by going outside. But I didn't say a word. I even opened & closed the door for them!I moved out of a townhouse complex, it had narrow roads that get crowded when trucks are parked on them. I discussed this with Michael (he did the estimate). He said "if a truck is in the way, we'll move it-no worries" Ha. I advised several of my neighbors who could be affected, a truck would be in front of my house both days so they could be prepared, but on moving day a second truck was on the street. In front of a neighbor I had not warned. I asked why 2 trucks, & got a smart ass response that I had asked for a 4th guy (I hadn't asked, it was suggested) & people can get around it so there's no need to move it, he walked away annoyed, end of discussion. I can take a hint, I kept my mouth shut.The 1st visit from Michael went well. He was friendly, talkative. I didn't complain but I felt rushed. 30 min to discuss everything cause he had another appt booked. We focused on what he want to talk about, not my questions.I have MUCH more to say, but writing about this is almost as traumatic as living it. I don't understand why this happened. I was polite. I stayed out of the way. I didn't yell, criticize or make demands, yet I still felt like they were being so inconvenienced, doing me an enormous favour. I realize this whole comment is out of sequence, it's still a jumble in my head.

Our entire move was completed in just 4 hours, with an incredible level of efficiency from start to finish.The movers were extremely professional, friendly, and careful with all our belongings. I recently moved from my home of 27 years and hired Morrison Moving. I had the best experience! Of course it ended up being the coldest day on record but this was a stress-free move! They put down mats so no mess! They moved and placed my furniture, boxes, bags, where I needed it. Everyone was friendly, well-organized, proficient and very respectful. The professionalism of this team was amazing! I would highly recommend your company! Sending a big thank you to everyone involved.
If we could leave more stars we would! Michael-Oliver, Dorian, Darren & Evan came to our home to help us with the move this morning and they were INCREDIBLE! They arrived promptly at 8:30 am, and immediately got to work.They rolled out red carpets, and tried their best to keep all the slush & snow off our floors. They clearly knew what they were doing because they all started immediately getting down to business & had all of our belongings packed up in 5 hours. Nobody stopped for a second during the entire time they were here.They packaged up our hanging items into special boxes. Securely stored all of our pictures & art. They wrapped all of our furniture in thick blankets, and securely stored them in their truck.The four of them were so friendly, polite & a joy to be around this morning. They made sure we didn’t accidentally pack anything up that we might need, and they asked lots of questions to make sure they got every single item.They even took apart three bed frames for us, AND they took a large table to dispose of for us which was a total life saver!They are storing everything for us for a week, and we look forward to working with them to unpack everything at our new house.They also gave us the best quote, and explained the breakdown of the cost for us & we’re right on with what they had quoted— which my husband and I appreciated.If you’re in the Hamilton/Oakville/Burlington area I cannot recommend Morrison Moving enough!
