Great guys to move with. They are efficient, problem solving, and good people. Shoutout to Koa, Kirk, and Sefa!
Joe, Isaiah, Jaywin and Kona made moving my entire home into storage units look easy. They were on time, deliberate, professional and respectful of my time and my uber heavy furniture. They wasted no time and were enormously considerate while packing and moving within a gated community. Avery set everything up and Jane (in the office) made coordinating it all very easy on me. I appreciate Malama Moving Company and after having worked with many different companies over the years I can say that Malama is without a doubt the best on the island. I am a very grateful customer !
??????????These movers were awesome. They showed up on time, worked quickly, and treated all of my belongings with care. The team was friendly, professional, and kept me informed throughout the entire move. They are very military-friendly and clearly understand how to work with base access and timelines. Moving is stressful, but they made it smooth and easy. Highly recommend.
Everything from communication leading up to the move and the delivery of the last piece was great. Jane answered all my questions on the phone, and the team of Koa, Landon, and Liko took great care in moving my things. They also made sure that my door would not get scratched and they laid padding on the floor. They started out really fast, but then as the move went on, the pace got a little slow and the move ended up taking a lot longer than what was quoted. However, I prefer slow and careful over fast and careless. Not a single thing was damaged, including a 300 pound all glass cabinet. Part of the reason the move took long was I have a lot of smaller furniture, and they took the time to wrap things very carefully with blankets and shrink wrap. The crew was very easy to work with and would definitely recommend using them.
This company was formally known as "Johnny The Mover" and they did a great job when we moved from Date Street to Manoa. However this post is for our move from Manoa to Ewa Beach. Logan was really informative about the cost. Even though the cost was higher than some, I felt comfortable to say yes to them again because of our past experience. Three man crew. Cost $190 an hour with three hour minimum. Plus a one time fee $55. The two main guys were really nice and they quickly moved our stuff. Now this is when things turned weird. I looked out my window and saw another guy rearranging the back of the truck. He was putting something on another and couldn't reach and he stepped on a shelf that holds our cat litter box and cat supplies and the shelf broke. I waited a little to see if someone was going to say something. However no one didn't until I said something. I didn't say anything else until later. The move went quick. Some of the workers saw my weights set and opened it to see what it looked like. Without my permission but I was ok. They quickly got to the next apartment and unloaded quickly. They tried to fix the cat shelf but it didn't look good at all. The lead was about to charge me for the full amount with no offer of a discount. I had to ask for it and they only offered $40 off to a $150 shelf. A couple days later we set up one of our big TVs and found when we turned it out the picture looked shattered. Didn't get to take a picture because husband was quick to throw it out. However attaching pic of the cat shelf box. Called Malama Moving to let them know. Three stars were given because of quickness to move everything within the three hour period, but two stars taken for the two broken items and what we felt was hiding the damage. We took a chance a second time but not sure about a third. We will see..
