This move was easily our favorite and easiest one yet. The head guy, Dave, was very prompt into giving us an estimate and accommodating our quick moving dates. Marco and his team did an excellent job with our move. They came all the way to Cleveland, loaded everything efficiently, and drove straight back to Chicago to unload the next day. Our move happened during some of the worst weather, with heavy snow and strong winds, but that didn’t stop Bekins from providing outstanding service. The team was very polite, professional, and efficient throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a stress-free move.
From our first meeting with Bekins until we waved the truck goodbye, with professional support, the amazing teams helped us immensely in our cross country move. We chose to have them pack all our breakables and everything arrived in perfect condition. The warehouse crew was great in advising us how to pack our soft goods with ease. The 2 packers were amazing to watch- how carefully they wrapped everything with precision. The driver, Steve, and the movers arrived promptly and got everything packed while dodging raindrops. They were puzzlemasters making for a safe and tight load. Steve, our driver kept us posted on his progress and got to our new home right on the first day of the delivery window. The local crew offloaded 334 pieces and placed everything as directed. It was seamless and Minimal stress. Bekins gets the highest rating from start to finish.
I hired Bekins based on the recommendation of a friend who had recently moved and had used them. I did interview other companies and was completely turned off by their high pressure (think used car salesman) tactics. Bekins came to my house and gave me an estimate based on what I told them I was moving. They gave me flexible moving dates. The pick up crew was so careful of my belongings - everything was completely protected. The driver was there for the pick up and delivery. He did the inventory coming and going. The delivery crew was also great, especially since I moved to a 2 story house. They showed up on time for both pick up and delivery. The price never changed. Nothing was broken and nothing was lost. I had a great experience. The absolute opposite of all the horror stories you hear about movers.
