We have done a few moves on our own, but we are at the age where strength, movements, and aches aren't the same anymore, so we decided to look for a moving company. Being our first time hiring a moving company and hearing horror stories, we were very cautious and paranoid. We found Professional Movers on google, and was skeptical, and the pushy sales department didn't help. We called half a dozen places, but in the end, we took a chance with them, and we're glad we did.First thing we liked, is the minimal deposit requested, $100, and the short cancellation notice and flexible change of date. They are very transparent with their charges, no hidden or surprise cost and fees. Everything that they stipulated they would do or provide, they did, ie. size of truck, number of movers, wrapping, protective covers, equipment ... They are organized, so when you call in for further inquiries, your file has all the notes from all previous calls, and don't have to repeat the situation. We had a confirmation text/call the day before, which helped ease our insecurities with a no show. Then a couple more texts the morning of, the approximate arrival time and the actual arrive time.The movers, LOVEpreet and team (Arsh, Avneet, Harpal), arrived on the scheduled date and ON TIME! They were experienced, friendly, yet professional. The team took care in wrapping and moving our belongings. They took apart some furniture and assembled them right back together at the destination. The truck was strategically packed to maximize the load capacity. They took great care and was equipped to tackle an extra heavy item (upright piano). All labelled boxes and furniture were placed correctly at destination, and if unknown, they asked. Love and team took minimal rests, and only one short lunch break, which was deducted from the invoice at the end. Another great aspect with Professional Movers, to make you feel more trusting and confident in their services, the final payment is due when basically all your furniture and belongings are unloaded.We wish we had hired a moving company in all our previous moves, as we would've experienced less arguments and stress, saved more time, damaged less things, and saved a back or 2!
