We had a great experience with True Friends Moving Company for our recent local move in Franklin. We had a last minute move and I wasn't sure if anyone would be available. I called on a Wednesday and they were available on Friday. A real person answered the phone. Asked very detailed questions and emailed the quote right when we hung up.Our move ended up being larger than we expected and required two trips. The crew assessed that right when they walked in the door. They handled everything professionally and worked hard the entire day. They even called almost an hour in advance to let me know there traffic was bad and they were going to be 15 minutes late.Jason, Kennedy, and Justin were excellent—careful with our furniture, efficient, and very honest about the time spent on the move. They stayed organized, kept things moving, and made what could have been a stressful day go very smoothly. We would absolutely recommend True Friends Moving Company to anyone planning a move in the Nashville/Franklin area.
We moved from TN up to Michigan recently. The move went really smooth, and everyone was super nice and helpful in a time that is usually pretty stressful. The movers themselves were great and got everything loaded/unloaded in a timely fashion.We did experience a couple items that got accidentally damaged, however True Friends did an excellent job of communicating and compensating us for the items.The overall price was very fair as well. We called about 5 different places that were either local or national chain, and True Friends had the best price for the services offered at that distance.I would recommend True Friends to anyone looking to move either locally or cross country like us.
I recently moved using True Friends moving company and couldn’t have had a better experience! To start, I was in flex on the exact day I was moving. Any concerns I had about picking a day were quickly put to rest after chatting with the team. They were super flexible with my pending schedule. The day of the move went so smoothly. The guys were kind and respectful with my items. They knew what they were doing and never rolled their eyes if I gave a direction. After having moved several times over the past few years with different moving companies, True Friends has been my best experience so far
True friends moving company was highly recommended. I’m thankful I chose them. The 3 young men were amazing ! They were very respectful of my husband and I and all of our belongings. They were very careful and caring. Unfortunately it costs a bit more than I had expected so I wasn’t able to tip the men. I wish I could have. They were definitely worth it. They covered everything in plastic and made me feel secure. I would highly recommend them.
Overall experience was fine, but I think rates could be a little bit more competitive. I did this exact same move 3 months ago with another moving company for almost $400 less, and an hour and a half shorter. The guys worked hard and were nice but wrapping takes quite a bit of time, so know that this goes into your overall time spent.Almost all of my stuff arrived in fine shape except my TV, which very clearly took a blunt impact and will need to be replaced. Since I declined purchasing a $30 box from True Friends, they denied coverage and will not be making it right. The TV was wrapped. TV’s need to be aggressively wrapped. Mindful Movers and All My Sons have never had an issue with this.Adding additional protections shouldn't upsells when I am paying $1000 to move a one-bedroom apartment 12 minutes down the road, no stairs. Any additional boxes should be included in the hourly rate, as your margin will be barely affected including those supplies etc. Integrity and accountability go a long way in business, even if it affects your margin. Karma banked always pays.
