Overall feedback points to strong execution on many jobs, with room to improve consistency in communication about fees.
We've used OKC 2 Men in a Truck twice. Both times the gentlemen were prompt, efficient, kind, positive attitudes and exceedingly helpful. Would highly recommend, helped make the moving process so much easier! If you're on a budget and need to use them to move heavy items, like furniture, worth the money!
If it allowed me to negatively rate Two Men and A Truck i would. The attitude of the two drivers that showed up was negative from the get-go. The young lady that was the passenger was extremely disgruntled. They spent the whole time complaining about their job to each other and about management and sales. The price wasn’t terrible until I realized that they charged me for $100 to pay for insurance in case they messed up my stuff that did not get refunded. Definitely the worst moving experience I ever had.Edited… I wanted to update my review. Management reached out And apologized for the two drivers that were sent to our house and made it right by returning the hundred dollars and said he would like to give us two free hours on our next move. I really appreciate the way that was handled and I believe I will give it one more try.
If I could give a negative rating of Two Men in a Truck movers, I definitely would! Do you know that their website won’t allow you to leave a review? They block it so negative reviews can’t post to their website. It looks like they have good reviews but it’s because they have blocked the negative ones that show the true ratings of the company. They also remove your documents so you can’t access what they have required you to sign. Because they have refused to allow me to leave a review, I’ve had to post on social media sites and the BBB to warn people. The OKC franchise of Two Men and a Truck moving service is a total scam. I believe the moving crew manager, LaKeith, is aware of his moving crews approaching and convincing the clients into renting a UHaul so his company can refuse any claims. But from what I’m reading on the BBB site, they don’t pay any claims anyway.Their moving crew of 3, Malcom Mason, one called Chicago, and Aaron Jones, have broken , torn up, and have stolen numerous items. TV’s, Bose radio, cash, jewelry, and totally destroyed the home I was moving from. They even tore a screen door off its frame. Dumped cat litter down the drain. Didn’t wrap expensive mirrors or nice furniture, as promised by Lisa Howard, their job coordinator and estimator, and broke and tore up numerous items. Even chunks of wood taken out of expensive furniture, black grease on white furniture, and we continue to find more broken and stolen items. The crew opened and went through personal items that they had no authority to do so. Malcom even had the ashes of a deceased pet out of its memorial box. There was no excuse for this other than they were looking for anything of value that they could steal. Then the crews office boss, LaKeith, had the nerve to scream at me over the phone, literally yelling and not even allowing me to speak. When I asked if he would like to know the truth of what happened with his moving crew, he yelled “NO! I don’t want to know!” I wasn’t going to listen to his verbal abuse and hung up. All of this on top of head of the 3 man moving crew, Malcom Mason, approaching me and asking me to let them move me with a U-Haul because he kept saying the company was going to charge me way too much for the move. One of them, nicknamed “Chicago,” even telling me the company would bill me up to 22,000. That the company would simply add additional cost onto their original quote and I would be stuck with paying it. They said that this is what the company does. Then after a nightmare of packing and loading, the one they called “Chicago” must have been high on something and threatened to not deliver my furniture until I paid his personal ransom of 700.00. That’s when we had no option but to call the police and get possession of the truck and my furniture. The police department had nothing good to say about the moving crew of OKC, Two Men and A Truck, except that they were scammers and to totally block them. It has been a total nightmare dealing with this company and they are refusing to fix any of the claims or repairs. The company is saying I have no proof that they did this. These pictures below are just a tip of the total amount of damage. Besides numerous items stolen, including Bose speaker, Malcom even tried to steal the moving blankets that belonged to UHaul until I threatened to call the police again. I believe this company is a total scam, and that the crew manager has total knowledge of the actions of his crews. Save yourself the headaches. DO NOT HIRE TWO MEN AND A TRUCK IN OKC! Additional reports to the BBB and police will be filed.
Everyone is so helpful and kind. Movers have great communication skills and keep you updated and confident throughout the move. They take care of everything they touch and I’ve yet to see anything, in three separate moves, be damaged what’s so ever with them which I’m super impressed and thankful for! Even my grandmothers jewelry chest, I mean it was treated like they were carrying the Mona Lisa! I can’t thank you all enough for your caring ways with not just property, but peoples lives.
Our whole experience was excellent from the very beginning. Brandy answered many questions that helped to make the right decisions for scheduling the move as well as what would be necessary. Austin & Keeshaun were our movers and also did an excellent job. They worked quickly & efficiently in loading up the items as well as unloading at the new living location. The price charged was fair and appropriate for the work done and was in the price range for what was quoted to me. Communication via email, text & phone call was very clear and done in a timely matter. I highly recommend this company.
