Earle W. Noyes & Sons earns my enthusiastic, five-star review because, despite s few areas of concern with our move, they quickly took ownership, were transparent at every step, and followed through to make things right.

TL;DR: Their honesty and willingness to fix problems matters more to me than a superficially “perfect” move.

Our move was a full household relocation with multiple stages—from the initial estimate through packing, transport, storage, delivery, and follow-ups. The beginning was excellent: we effectively had a project manager who was our point person and receptive, proactive, and genuinely helpful throughout the planning and early execution, which gave us a lot of confidence.

I won’t go into specifics, as those were handled professionally, but there were a few things which needed to be addresssed. We raised each issue as it occurred; communication from Noyes was prompt, though some of the actual fixes took longer than we’d hoped. In hindsight, I've come to learn that there were some unforeseeable complexities on their side that contributed to those delays.

Once we clearly laid out our concerns and documented what had gone wrong, Noyes’ management—and even senior leadership—engaged with us directly and meaningfully. They listened, acknowledged the problems without getting defensive, investigated, and treated our complaints as real issues to solve rather than inconveniences to minimize. That level of engagement honestly impressed me.

No move is perfect, and for us, the real test of a company is how they behave when things don’t go according to plan. In our case, Noyes demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to standing behind their name, which is why I feel completely comfortable recommending Earle W. Noyes & Sons Moving Specialists to others, without question.

Though the thought of another move is the last thing I want to contemplate right now, I would absolutely choose to work with Noyes again in the future.

My husband and I hired Noyes Movers for our recent move, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Our booking agent, Charlotte, coordinated everything flawlessly and provided the exact dates and times we requested.

We had the pleasure of working with Cassie and Anthony, who handled our belongings—especially our valuable and sentimental items—with great care and respect. They worked for five hours in very challenging weather conditions, as we had just experienced three snowstorms the week prior, yet remained positive and professional throughout.

They were extremely mindful of keeping our new space—never lived in before—clean and protected at all times. What truly stood out was that we didn’t have to manage or oversee the move at all. Cassie had previously been hired by the building contractors while the property was still under construction to move in appliances, so she was already very familiar with the building and its logistics.

I have used Noyes for several moves, and if/when I move again, they will be the movers I call again. I also used them for storage for a few years, and they made that easy for me, too. Every moving team that has moved my stuff has worked really hard to get everything done quickly and with care. Our local move by Noyes Moving Co. was in the hands of three capable individuals led by Cassie and supported by Anthony and Zeke. They worked together relentlessly for six straight hours at a very fast pace and yet with great care for our property, not just the items they were lifting and moving, but great caution for the inside of our home at every turn up and downstairs repeatedly. The safety of this team led by Cassie was a clear priority but she also took time to teach her younger assistant, Zeke. She did this by taking a pause in her fast pace to make simple recommendations for his consideration. Even though they frankly were winded most of the time, they took brief regular water breaks. The result of their team work was a perfectly executed move from start to finish.

Earle W Noyes & Sons sets the bar for excellent customer service. My prior experience with other moving companies, both local & interstate, ranged from fair to miserable so I was dreading relocating from Maine to Oregon.

Our initial meeting with Noyes’ Certified Moving Consultant, Bob Morley, confirmed we made the right choice with movers. Bob outlined the timeline of how our property would be picked up, stored & eventually delivered. Bob’s expertise was clear as he evaluated the number of containers needed for our move and explained how it would be stored locally until we were ready for delivery. Bob quickly responded to follow-up questions we had after meeting with him.

Our Relocation Coordinator, Charlotte Collins, was a joy to work with. Within the first week of our move, Charlotte reached out to us for a check-in and encouraged us to contact her with questions. Charlotte ensured we understood how the total charges were calculated. While our property was delivered as promised with NOTHING broken during the move process (a very pleasant surprise) we did have slight wall damage at the staircase and a dresser mirror was not reattached by the delivery staff from a third-party company. Charlotte took initiative on ensuring both matters were addressed and showed a genuine concern for our property & satisfaction. Charlotte’s professionalism & friendly demeanor changed our interstate move from something I dreaded to one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

I have no hesitation recommending Earle W Noyes & Sons for those needing help with a local or interstate move.
