DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!!! This was by far the worst moving company I’ve experienced. I will never use them and I hope my review helps others not to use Midwest moving company in Maine.

I recently moved July 1, 2025 and I’ve been emailing Midwest moving companies management for about two months regarding their professional movers that cause damage to my brand new GE washer unit that cost $650/unit. Instead of securing my washer to a dolly and straps They insisted to carry it by hand and they lost grip of it, and it dropped on my stairway. They acknowledged what they did was wrong, and I immediately called management up to figure out a solution to the problem and I’ve gotten his radio silence.

Finally, after all sorts of emails, calling, Etc. they are only giving me $200 for the damage that they caused. Pathetic!!!! I would’ve at least settled for $350 or a brand new unit.

I would caution you to try any other company besides this one!!!!

The worst moving experience I’ve ever had. Moving is stressful and difficult on its own. Imagine a moving company you’re paying 100s of dollars only to reach out the night before your move and change the time of your move. Probably not a big deal. Now imagine that your moving company changed the time of your move over 4 different times the day of your move so not only do you waste an entire day of your life waiting in anticipation but also set you back with any plans you had scheduled.

The move gets scheduled a day after it was supposed to and now you think the worst is behind you. Until the movers the company sends you end up scratching and gouging pieces of your front door and act like it’s a non issue. You file a claim with their department and you get radio silence.

If this the type of move you’re interested in having, look no further because this is the company for you. If you’d prefer to not be left with damages and a terrible moving experience I would caution you to try any other company besides this one.
