Recent reviews often highlight movers who are polite, careful with belongings, and efficient on move day. Several customers mention positive communication from the office and punctual arrivals. There are also critical reviews citing pricing changes when inventories exceeded initial estimates and challenges on longer-distance moves. Overall sentiment trends positive, but clarity around item lists and final costs is a recurring theme.

We are so grateful for Sukh and Harry’s help with my Father’s move. They were kind, respectful, professional and hard working. Thank you so much!

Two Small Men with Tiny Black Hearts. We recently arranged a move with this company from Abbotsford, BC to St. Albert, AB. My husband called in advance to estimate our belongings for our 4200sqft home as best he could. He said we had about 3 bedrooms worth of furniture because, though we had 5 bedrooms, we were not bringing much of our furniture, so it amounted to two full beds/headboards, four nightstands, two twin mattresses and two dressers. He itemized all of our large items and even increased our expected boxes to 60 when he realized he'd underestimated. The only addition in the end was our disassembled trampoline and probably more boxes that we had thought, so the day of our move, when they did a walk through and decided we needed to pay $1500 more, that was fine with us. The day was miserable, the older gentleman that was working that day complained about everything making it seem as though it was an inconvenience to be there doing his job. Complaining about heavy items, complaining about taking furniture apart, complaining about the Home Depot boxes we had used. I felt like I needed to walk on eggshells around him on what was my last day in my home that I had loved for 8 years. Throughout the day, myself and my MIL asked several times if all of our belongings were going to fit in the truck and we were assured they would. At the end of the day we weren't able to bring our cedar planter boxes that my Dad had made and that were in our original estimate and around 8 boxes from our garage, including our Christmas tree. We had to leave for the airport 15 minutes after they finished so there was no time to properly say goodbye to our home without the miserable mover or figure anything out for our remaining belongings. We were just told to call dispatch and they would deal with it. The next day when dealing with dispatch, they said they could get us the remaining items for an additional $1800. We decided it would make more sense to try and replace our things but my MIL found another company that picked up our things that day and had them to us in Alberta two days before any of our other items arrived for only $450. This company will take advantage of you and was all around horrible to deal with. Please do your research and find someone that comes to your home to estimate your belongings in advance so you don't end up with a terrible experience like ours.

I would not use this moving company. I thought by using a well known name in the moving industry we would have had greater professionalism. We were moving from BC to Alberta, we booked our truck and estimated our items, on the day of the move, the movers arrived and noted that we had more than they quoted, they walked through the home and came back with a new price to ship everything. It was difficult for us to estimate originally so we agreed to the new price. As they loaded the truck, my wife confirmed with them many times that they would be able to fit everything. The day was coming to an end and they did not fit everything on the truck, there were about 7 boxes left, they offered no solution but to call their dispatch. Upon doing this, we were then told if we wanted them to send a truck to pack the items they did not fit, that it would be $1800 for the 8 boxes. They tried to leverage an exorbitant amount of money knowing we had little to no other options. We ended up finding another moving company that came, grabbed the boxes, and delivered them to our new home in Alberta before this company even arrived with our original load for less than a quarter of what they were trying to charge us. Use a company that properly estimates your load, has better values, and makes things right for the customers.

Thanks Sahil and Akram! You both made my move incredibly easy and worry free. Right from the moment they arrived, both were polite, smiling and ready to take on their job. Moved every article and box carefully saving the edges and corners everywhere, saved some time and broke one dinner plate! ;)
This was my second move with Two Small Men with Big Hearts - punctual, careful, no last minute drama and no shockers.
Thanks Sahil, Akram and team!

Rupert Rhompson on Two Small Men with Big Hearts

Two Small Men with Big Hearts did a phenomenal job moving me and my wife. The lead mover Dave, was such a pro and so respectful with all our belongings, they were on time, did the job efficiently and in a timely manner. The cost was less than I thought it would be as well. Jeff in the office was very helpful in arranging the movers, answering all my many questions, and putting my mind at ease. I would recommend them to anyone looking to make their move both seamless and stress free! Thanks guys!
