Big thank you to the team here for doing a great job moving my parents this week from their home into an apartment. They were reasonably priced, on time and accommodated a special request in delivery of some items.
Fantastic team!Wheather the stars were perfectly aligned or this is how they operate, they were amazing.I called them in the morning and asked if they could fit me in the same day, they said they’d call me earlier in the afternoon to let me know, however as they were passing by my pickup location they stopped-in to get a grasp on the load that was to be picked up and dropped off, they gave me a call 4 hours before I was excepting them, to let me know they were going to be able to pull of the move if we started right away. We were able to fit the move in between their last move and lunch!We were super pumped that our stuff didn’t have to sit outside any longer than it already had.Cheers guys!
Moving from a lifelong home in the country to a condominium in the city is a big change. A huge thank you to Rock and his team for making this an easy and stress-free move! Fast, extremely friendly, very competitive rate, professional, prompt, efficient and everything was moved with care. Every aspect of the move, from the first call for a quote until the last item was off the truck was such a positive experience. Highly recommend them to help with your move - you will not be disappointed.
The staff is great. I highly recommend Allied for local moves only. If you use this company for long distance you will be satisfied up until pick up. Once your belongings are picked up and enroute to your destination you will be dissatisfied with expected date of arrival and having to deal with Allied customer service is a nightmare. My mother's shipment was picked up October 26th in Thunder Bay they are now stating delivery to Elkford will be on November 14th. The worse part of this experience is the driver for my mom's shipment was going past her destination which he offered to deliver before going to Calgary, however head office refused him of this transaction. The driver has since quit his job with Allied as he to was stating the frustration of Allied upper management.
What a bunch of shysters... the guy who bought something to be moved from our house is too nice to say anything, so I will. When the movers moved the item out, they decided to charge the buyer nearly 50% more than was quoted. AND they had the gall to demand a $50 tip! Seriously, guys like this need to be shut down, and fast!
