I am a project manager for a local remodeling company. We used ANC twice on a current project, once to move the clients furniture/appliances out, and once to move it all back in. I can’t say enough good things about them. They were extremely careful with not only the clients things but also their home. They protected items as well as doorways and floors. They used plywood where they had to go across the lawn. They disassembled the furniture that would not fit through the door and then reassembled it. The client has a giant glass grandfather clock that was her mother’s. They treated it as if it was priceless because it was to her. Seth and Junior were the technicians that came out and I could not recommend them more. They were also wonderful with how they interacted with our client. Very kind and professional and receptive to her requests. Great job guys????

We’ve used ANC Movers multiple times, from full house moves to specialty deliveries like a heavy sideboard for our dining room, and they’ve delivered every time. Unfortunately, my experience with ANC has been less than stellar. It started off very good, communication was good throughout the estimate and booking process. The day they packed the house went well, however after the truck was loaded and we started removing items from the truck it was very evident that the movers were very careless in loading our items. We had several pieces of furniture damaged from lack of protection or just having items stacked on one another that shouldn't have been.

We purchased all of the exact packing materials the movers requested, even going out during the day they packed to get more supplies they requested. The damage was not due to the wrong moving pads being used; the damage was due to heavy items being stacked on lighter items or furniture pads not being used at all.

List of damaged items:

Amish made king size bed frame had metal shelf frames rubbing against it gouging the wood
Children's Ikea bed frame was not protected and now have black gouges on the posts and the white panel edges are crushed where heavy items were stacked on them
Kitchen table legs had metal shelf frames left on top of them rubbing the paint off and gouging the wood
Kitchen chair and bench had the same issues as the legs
Several shelves were just thrown into laundry baskets and are scuffed and gouged
My office desk has white paint along the top edge from the doorframe on my office it also has some kind of white liquid on it permanently staining and scratching the surface.
Children's stepladder had metal rubbing against it gouging the wood
Air purifier was stacked with metal pieces rubbing against it gouging the plastic and leaving black marks on it
Children's Ikea table was stacked with heavy items on the edge splitting the wood
Handmade wine bottle holder was not protected and has gouges in the wood
Living room couch had heavy shelves stacked on the arm with no protection leaving permanent damage to the arm
Storage cart again, no protection, paint rubbed off all over the cart
Living room lamp had metal car part laid on top of it gouging the metal
Master bedroom mattress was unprotected, and the fabric was torn up with wood chips all over it
Coleman camping grill had metal Christmas tree stand thrown on top of it, running paint off and damaging the metal
Amish made bar stool had pointed item on top of it, gouging the pad surface permanently.

We also ended up having two kitchen drawers not packed-not such a big deal, but when added to the damage above is disappointing.

The more troubling part of this is that I contacted ANC on Friday, December 27th with my concerns and asked that a manager call me back, I have yet to hear back from any management at ANC. I also sent a detailed email with pictures of all of the damage on Monday the 6th and was assured a manager would call me back ASAP.

Fast forward to mid-January, I was able to get a hold of the owner of the company and through some delayed back and forth, settled on a number much lower than I would've liked to see. Due to me just wanting to move on, I agreed to the lower number. However, now the agreed upon date to cut and mail the check has come and gone, with no check being cut, and no communication from the owner. I found out through his office that the person there that cuts the checks is out of the office and they have no projected date to make the agreed upon payment. Attempted to contact the owner via phone and email with no response.

Fast forward to a month after the agreed upon settlement payment date and no payment or communication from ANC.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend ANC as a moving company due to the damage and lack of urgency in handling the issues. This has been one missed commitment after another with ANC and no real sense of urgency to handle the multitude of issues their negligence has created.

The fact the owner himself would agree upon a settlement for damage they caused and then not make the agreed upon payment is just bad business.
