This was our first time using Tow Men and A Truck and we were not disappointed!

Our friends recommended using them and had positive experiences as well.

From Tish & Brian who worked in-house, in the office, to Will & Don who managed the move on-site in the truck organizing, loading and unloading and house packing and moving it out, to Denis & Christian who were heavily involved and the muscle also...a great team that worked well together. Fast, efficient & careful. One day left to wrap things up. Move is taking four days total, spread out.

A very positive, and enjoyable experience with those four guys! Moving is stressful no matter how you slice it…but we are thankful that we chose Two Men & A Truck.

Had an amazing experience with the movers. They worked extremely hard with multiple stops, heavy pieces of furniture that required dis-assembly & re-assembly. Everything was handled with care & they were extremely patient when we were stuck in the settlement office longer than expected. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I used Two Men and a Truck for a local move and would not recommend based on my experience. Scheduling was an easy process which is why I give them 2 stars, but the movers were no where near as good as the guys that I hired through Task Rabbit when I moved back to Wilmington a year prior.

A few specific examples: 1) I gave *very clear* instructions that my Nordictrack treadmill base had to remain flat with nothing heavy placed on top of it. These were instructions that I was given by the fitness company crew that disassembled it for the move and they emphasized how important it was for me to let the movers know. Which I did - to all 4 of them at the same time at which point the move lead responded - “copy that.” 30 minutes later I came outside to the truck only to discover that the treadmill base was strapped up to the side of the truck - exactly the opposite of what I had said. This is a $3k+ piece of equipment and my instructions that it had to remain flat to prevent damage to the motor could not have been any more clear. They did put it flat after I pointed all of this out (again) but the fact that they put it on a vertical in the first place was completely careless and left me wondering what exactly the lead guy “copied” 30 minutes prior. So, not off to a great start. 2) When we got to my new apt one of the movers - who by the way could not have made it more evident that he wanted to be somewhere else - dropped the glass top of my coffee table as he was placing it on the table. I was in another room with a different mover when this happened and we both came out to see what the loud noise was all about. At first everything looked ok but after they left I noticed one of the corners was chipped - and it def wasn’t before. 3) Oh and that same guy who clearly didn’t want to be there had another shining moment. A friend of mine was on her way over to help me decide on the positioning of furniture in the bedroom so I asked him to hold off on putting the mattress on until she arrived. His response - “you do know we’re paid by the hour.” Nice.

I did end up calling afterwards to complain about that and the treadmill incident. A manager did initially respond saying both things should not have happened and he would follow up. That never happened.

So based on this experience I certainly would not recommend Two Men. The guys from Task Rabbit were much better - far more careful and professional.

Absolutely the BEST!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone ready to move!! DREAM TEAM VIBES!!! EXCELLENT experience from mover to management!!! I have made many moves in my many years but to watch the young men, especially Chris & Brandon, come in and take charge then work in unison like a well oiled machine was perfect! The move was easy & quick!! They were always making sure they had the correct room for each box, they broke down our beds & chairs, wrapped everything in blankets & wrap to ensure protection, & they were very respectful and pleasant to work with! Now in the move, as with anything in life, our TV (those things are so easily broken) was slightly damaged so when we noticed that evening I sent an email (10pm on a Friday night) to the office stating the issue. First thing 9am Saturday morning I received a call from Eric apologizing for the inconvenience and asked for the TV info. Monday morning came I received a call that a new TV (same kind) would be delivered within 3-5 days well in 2 days it was at my front door. Things happen in life and it was such a refreshing change to deal with a company that is consistent from mover to manager in professionalism, respect, work ethic, integrity, & all around good people!! So
I highly recommend this company for your next move!! TEN STARS ??
